Founder and Managing Partner
Damjan founded fronteraTECH Law in 2016, and today serves as its managing partner. Beginning in September 2017, Damjan became the Executive Director of fronteraTECH.org, a legal nonprofit focused on removal defense. The non-profit disbanded in 2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic for reasons related to the pandemic itself. The principles of technology development developed at the fronteraTECH.org have been carried over to the private law firm side. A video featuring his work at the nonprofit, is here:
An Immigrant and Refugee
Attorney Damjan DeNoble is an immigrant himself, having been forced to move to the U.S. from Sarajevo during the period of the wars in the former-Yugoslavia. Along with his family he has experienced the full gamut of the American immigrant experience, from leaving everything behind as a refugee and successfully navigating the visa and citizenship process, to finding success in America. He brings lessons from that experience - including the need or compassion, diligent planning, and patience - to each and every client interaction at fronteraTECH Law.
A Passionate Immigration Advocate
Damjan has found his calling in helping family members impacted by arduous and often unfair immigration laws. He practices at the intersection of family immigration and removal defense, and frequently practices before immigration courts in Charlotte, Atlanta, and the Stewart Detention Center. A PHP/Javascript self-taught programmer and a lawyer, his work with immigration technology geared towards undocumented immigrants has been recognized for its innovative approach to legal assistance. He has also been featured by Duke University as one of its distinguished Public Policy alumni for his work in immigration. His Youtube Channel, fronteraLabor, is the first of its kind, with a focus on giving immigrants DIYing their way through the process a chance to succeed.
Damjan founded Bull City Lawyer after a successful, nearly decade-long career as a business consultant and legal counsel in Asia, the last four years of which were as a partner with Rubicon Strategy Group, the leading consulting group for multi-national healthcare companies entering and operating in China, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Singapore. During his work at Rubicon Strategy Group he authored and edited three full-length books on the healthcare economies of Vietnam and Myanmar, and the senior care market in China, and his work and thoughts on Asia's economy have been quoted or cited by Reuters, the Atlantic, CNBC, the Economic Times, the Sinocism Newsletter, the Sinica Podcast, Businessweek, and many other respected news, blog and scholarly publications. He still writes a syndicated, regular column on healthcare markets in Asia for the Nikkei Asian Review.
